Health and Safety Statement

(Updated August 21, 2020) The health and safety of our visitors, staff and community remains our highest priority.

As an Agency of the Government of Ontario, the Metro Toronto Convention Centre has been communicating regularly with the Ministry of Heritage, Sport, Tourism and Culture Industries (MHSTCI) on the developments of COVID-19.

The Ontario government is safely reopening more of the economy by easing restrictions for facilities that rent out professional meeting and event spaces. Beginning August 21, 2020, facilities can have up to 50 guests for each indoor meeting room or event space within the facility. Facilities will adhere to a plan approved by the Office of the Chief Medical Officer of Health.

Ontario is taking a gradual, thoughtful approach to  reopening the economy. Public health and safety will be the number one concern, while balancing the needs of people and businesses.

Our administrative team remains available to answer your questions and our management team is working diligently to return inquires promptly.
