Metro Toronto Convention Centre
The health and safety of our visitors, staff and community remains our highest priority.
As an Agency of the Government of Ontario, the Metro Toronto Convention Centre has been communicating regularly with the Ministry of Heritage, Sport, Tourism and Culture Industries (MHSTCI) on the developments of COVID-19.
On June 24th, the Government of Ontario extended the Declaration of Emergency until July 15th. The decision was made in consultation with the Chief Medical Officer of Health to protect the health and safety of Ontarians as the province reopens in a measured and responsible way.
Ontario is currently planning for the next phase of responding to the COVID-19 outbreak – reopening our province. The province will take a gradual, thoughtful approach to loosening emergency conditions and reopening the economy. Public health and safety will be the number one concern, while balancing the needs of people and businesses. As of June 24, 33 public health unit regions have entered Stage 2, allowing more businesses and services to open.
