The fields, farms, wineries, breweries, and craftspeople of Ontario provide us with an ever-expanding selection of the freshest produce, pastured meats, artisanal cheeses, maple syrup, honey, preserves, wines, craft brews, and breads. Our short growing season offers seasonal delicacies, and is enhanced by extensive greenhouse operations across the province, which allows the MTCC to offer our guests our Locally Sourced Menus; the freshest and best of Ontario all year round.
Local Food & Beverage Blog
Serving innovative menu using local products to over a million guests annually is a big challenge, but we have decided the investment in our farmers makes it worth the extra effort. Our Local Food and Beverage Program is in full swing, and Kelly Hughes, our Local Food Procurement Officer, is working with our Chef Angelo Fernandes and his team to make it happen. You’ll be able to join us along the way on our Local Blog, as Kelly takes us to the places where great food comes from, offers some informative local food tips, and shares the MTCC’s successes and challenges.
