Toronto, ON - Close to 2,000 credit union industry representatives and exhibitors will be in Toronto July 12-15, 2006 to attend the National Association of Federal Credit Unions (NAFCU) 39th Annual Conference & Exhibition, to be held at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre (MTCC).
The event is the largest U.S. credit union conference and exhibition and will be attended by over 1,800 U.S. credit union representatives, including executives, senior staff, board members, exhibitors and guests. It represents an annual opportunity for NAFCU members to fine-tune their credit union's goals and strategies, get the latest regulatory and legislative news, discuss new trends and ideas, and network with other credit union leaders.
This year’s Conference will offer attendees 37 informative education sessions in five specialized tracks: finance, operations, management/marketing, security & technology and emerging issues. Over 50 expert presenters will speak on vital topics facing credit unions today.
Keynote speakers will include:
Jason Jennings, author and respected business consultant. Mr. Jennings focuses on helping companies achieve their full economic potential. His latest book is Think Big–Act Small: How America’s Best Performing Companies Keep the Startup Spirit Alive.
Ben Stein, award-winning actor, economist, journalist, writer and teacher. Mr. Stein is a witty intellectual who has diverse views on politics, current events and the economy. Mr. Stein’s impressive career includes serving as speechwriter for Presidents Richard Nixon and Gerald Ford, screenplay writer and publisher of 17 books
