What is wireless Internet access?

Wireless Internet access is a connection to the MTCC wireless network which provides Internet access.

How do I connect to the MTCC wireless network?

Perform a wireless network scan using windows or your wireless card utility. Pick the appropriate SSID from the list and connect. Once connected open Windows Internet Explorer. Enter pass code in space provided.

How do I obtain a pass code for the system?

Pass codes are issued to exhibitors who have completed and returned an order form and method of payment. Pass codes are issued prior to show opening at the booth or through the Exhibitor Services desk. The pass code is valid for the length of the event that it was purchased for.

How many computers can I log in with a pass code?

Each pass code will allow access for only one computer and is non-transferable.

Can I establish my own wireless network at the MTCC?

The MTCC does not allow the connection of wireless access points to its network.

What protocols does the MTCC wireless network support?

The MTCC wireless network supports a, b and g protocols and is WiFi certified.

How fast is my connection?

The connection speed averages between 1 and 2 Mbps up stream and down stream.
